Neurosurgeons from Boston removed the tooth of an ancient mummy - the goal to recover its DNA from the tooth pulp and learn more about its gender & life. Who knew that pulp is one of the most reliable sources of non-degraded DNA. See: http://www.boston.com/news/sci...t_tooth_for_dna_clues/

That raises another question- should we save our baby teeth for the future, maybe even for our own health needs?
